The length of involvement is different with each family. Qualifications: The Family Support Partner must have lived experience of involvement with the RI DCYF. Knowledge and competencies needed to effectively support other families are needed. Trauma Systems Training (TST) training and certification are required, but will be provided in-service at a later date. Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, as needed. The position requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, registration, inspection, and a driving record. In addition, the reliable transportation must have a minimum of three seats in addition to the driver’s seat. Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay. Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
