Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Installer to join our construction team. We have 16 town houses in East Providence RI scheduled to begin drywall in mid-January of 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing wallboards to ceilings and interior walls of buildings, preparing surfaces, and ensuring a smooth finish. This role requires precision, physical stamina, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Measure and mark cutting lines on drywall sheets.

· Cut drywall to the right size using hand and power tools.

· Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework.

· Prepare surfaces for drywall application by taping, mudding, and sanding joints and holes.

· Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.

· Inspect drywall installations for quality and adherence to building codes.

· Work with other construction professionals such as electricians and plumbers to ensure proper placement.

· Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

· Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear as required.
