CCAP Mission Statement - To empower all people and communities, challenged by poverty as well as social and cultural barriers, through advocacy, education, and access to high quality health and human services.

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversee and manage all aspects of front desk operations to include appointment bookings, timely coding and posting of claims, updated demographic information for medical records, verification of insurance status, patient flow, and insuring desk staff accountability to assigned duties. Customer relations and insuring accurate treatment plans.

WORK SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

The position is full-time, 38 hours per week.

Must be able to work evenings.

Occasional unscheduled overtime may be required in the event of vacation time or short staffing.

May be required to work at any CCAP location

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 - 3 Years desk experience in a health setting
  • Knowledge of computer systems and programs
  • Knowledge of medical/dental terminology
  • Providing/maintaining all required immunizations and or vaccinations
  • Completion of all required background checks
  • Bilingual Spanish, preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the flow of front desk and patient flow
  • Answer multi phone lines
  • Good communication and management skills
  • Insure appropriate booking of Dental Appointments
  • Must possess professional telephone manners
  • Must maintain an organized work environment and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Be capable of working all stations of front desk, medical record
  • Keep inventory of supplies for front desk
  • Assure accurate recording of patient fees, collection of fees, coding and posting to the billing system
  • Communication skills for all levels of client, provider, colleague and outside contact interactions.
  • Other duties as needed.
