Overview
Job Description
- Supports the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for various FMS programs.
- Assists the Case Manager, with support of other members of the Security Cooperation team, in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework IAW the arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with large and diverse teams
- Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
- Familiar with the case development process
- Understands obligation plans, CSPT, and managing funds for a foreign partner
- Responding to Letters of Request (LOR) for Pricing and Availability (P&A) and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA)
- Familiar with Congressional Notifications (CN)
- Familiar with Third Party Transfers (TPT)
- Knowledgeable with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM)
- Understanding of International Travel Requirements
- Understanding case structure and tools used to track case financials
- ERP
- MISIL
- SCIP
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
- Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology
- Masters degree in business administration, business management, finance, accounting or other technical related disciplines
- In lieu of a Masters degree a Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of additional work experience may be substituted.
- In lieu of an Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree plus four (4) additional years of work experience may be substituted.
- In lieu of a degree, an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted.
- Ten (10) or more years of experience working with FMS programs supporting the DoD.
