ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Demonstrate character development values of caring, honest, respect, and responsibility in all decision-making, member and staff interactions, meetings, etc. • Ensure overall quality customer service. • Position requires part-time weekday hours and will include some evening and weekend hours as needed. • Project a professional image at all times including neat appearance and positive manner. • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all Group Fitness Instructors. • Schedule all Group Fitness classes, and update schedules seasonally, as needed. • Keep schedules available throughout the club. • Communicate updated schedules and program information with the social media team. • Monitor Group Fitness Instructor certifications to ensure all are current. • Maintain Fitness equipment and notify GM when equipment is needed. • Coordinate current group fitness specialty classes and create new programs based on member needs. • Research and stay abreast of new Group Fitness trends and liability issues. • Finish and approve payroll at the end of each pay period. • Schedule one staff meeting/appreciation event per year. • Must maintain regular communication with GM about group fitness happenings, scheduled time off, and other factors pertaining to the group fitness department. • Perform all other duties deemed necessary by GM. Allocate inventory across distribution centers (DCs) to support sales demand plans. Manage in-stock position by location, and ensure inventory levels are adequate for projected sales or advertised items both online and in stores. Establish and maintain item and location replenishment parameters and attributes. Manage supplier lead-times for replenishment items based on supply chain performance. Maintain item eligibility set by assortment and space planning processes. Create and maintain supplier replenishment purchase orders and warehouse allocations. Interact daily with Buyers on new item purchases, identifying seasonality of goods, and inventory flow regarding promotional activity. Execute mass transfer requests for stock balancing purposes. Secure adequate inventory for new store openings. Execute weekly replenishment orders that support in stock, sales, margin, and turn of our Core product. Facilitate store communication as it pertains to quantity levels. Maintain internal control documentation, effectively perform assigned internal controls, remediate internal control exceptions, and respond to internal and external audit requests. The Group Fitness Manager position is fun, exciting and ever evolving! The GFC supervises all Group Fitness Instructors, maintains the class schedule and coordinates all facets of the Group Fitness programs Primary responsibilities: This position requires extensive experience in teaching a variety of Group Fitness Classes. The incumbent must maintain an instructor certification. The incumbent must be able to work independently, supervise and guide staff. The incumbent must be able to relate well with the GM, staff, members and community agencies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Demonstrate character development values of caring, honest, respect, and responsibility in all decision-making, member and staff interactions, meetings, etc.
• Ensure overall quality customer service.
• Position requires part-time weekday hours and will include some evening and weekend hours as needed.
• Project a professional image at all times including neat appearance and positive manner.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all Group Fitness Instructors.
• Schedule all Group Fitness classes, and update schedules seasonally, as needed.
• Keep schedules available throughout the club.
• Communicate updated schedules and program information with the social media team.
• Monitor Group Fitness Instructor certifications to ensure all are current.
• Maintain Fitness equipment and notify GM when equipment is needed.
• Coordinate current group fitness specialty classes and create new programs based on member needs.
• Research and stay abreast of new Group Fitness trends and liability issues.
• Finish and approve payroll at the end of each pay period.
• Schedule one staff meeting/appreciation event per year.
• Must maintain regular communication with GM about group fitness happenings, scheduled time off, and other factors pertaining to the group fitness department.
• Perform all other duties deemed necessary by GM.
