Maintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met. Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies. Trains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed. In absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision. Cleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper. Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required. Pay range: $18-$19 What You Bring: Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training. One year previous housekeeping experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills. Able to work alone or as part of a team. Ability to work on feet for extended periods. Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs. Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton-Buffalo Downtown is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their housekeeping team!

A Housekeeping Supervisor, oversees and supervises cleaning personnel and inspects hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobbies by performing the following duties.

  • Maintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.
  • Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
  • Trains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed.
  • In absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision.
  • Cleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
  • Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.

Pay range: $18-$19

What You Bring:

  • Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
  • One year previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
  • Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
  • And most importantly an engaging personality.
