This role performs daily cleaning activities, maintenance tasks, and supply replenishment. The Maintenance and Housekeeping Associate has high standards for hygiene and an attention for detail. This is an hourly position. What you will do Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities. Maintain cleanliness throughout all areas of the store by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning mirrors, and collecting trash, hangers, and sensor tags. Clean restrooms and associate breakroom thoroughly, sanitizing all surfaces and breakroom appliances and restocking essential items. Replenish supplies at registers, including bags, boxes, and tissue paper and remove unnecessary items. Organize and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies to promote efficiency and ensure ease of access by store team. Support store safety by identifying hazards, such as spills, icy sidewalks, and broken glass, and resolving promptly. Replace interior and exterior lights, maintaining a well-lit store environment. Leverage training tools, use resources, and embrace feedback to build knowledge of operational processes and procedures and strengthen performance. Stay informed of products, promotions, policies, and store events to enhance execution. Contribute to a positive store culture by building connections with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating individual and team achievements. Enhance in-store customer experience by warmly acknowledging and assisting customers, supporting the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and completing other tasks as assigned. All furniture, walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, sills, corridors, elevators, and stairways of first two floors of Resort and all of the Casino, H.R. and all other out building not listed above. Picks up trash exterior of building, parking garage, guest parking lot and 252 employee parking lot and grounds area during weekends. Stock, maintain, and secure all storerooms with all needed supplies. Uses high lift or ladders to reach high areas for cleaning. Remove all trash from casino and designated hotel areas daily. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Pressure washes as needed. Performs special projects as directed. The Environmental Services team at Givens Highland Farms Health Care Center, a five-star skilled nursing facility in Black Mountain, has a Full-Time Housekeeping/Laundry position available. In this pivotal position, you'll be assisting the Environmental Services team helping our residents feel welcome, and perform housekeeping and laundry duties. The schedule for this position is 5 days a week with rotating weekends, 7:30am - 4pm. What you'll do: Maintain high levels of facility cleanliness and appearance by ensuring that residences, common areas, administrative areas are kept clean and well-maintained by following assignments for bed making, cleaning the floors, furniture, draperies, blinds, window sills, trash cans, toilets, sinks, mirrors, etc. in each accommodation and common areas Meet emergency cleaning situations; Be part of the Environmental Services team and openly share your ideas and goals Build rapport and trust in our services with residents and fellow team members Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor What you'll need: A collaborative mindset Ability to move, bend, and lift regularly throughout shift Take personal responsibility for safety in the workplace High School or GED equivalent is preferred Previous Housekeeping experience preferred Compensation is $18.25 - $19.25 per hour, based on background and experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package! Job Description

The Maintenance and Housekeeping Associate drives sales and delivers a positive customer and associate experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting store environment. This role performs daily cleaning activities, maintenance tasks, and supply replenishment. The Maintenance and Housekeeping Associate has high standards for hygiene and an attention for detail. This is an hourly position.

What you will do

  • Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout all areas of the store by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning mirrors, and collecting trash, hangers, and sensor tags.

  • Clean restrooms and associate breakroom thoroughly, sanitizing all surfaces and breakroom appliances and restocking essential items.

  • Replenish supplies at registers, including bags, boxes, and tissue paper and remove unnecessary items. Organize and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies to promote efficiency and ensure ease of access by store team.

  • Support store safety by identifying hazards, such as spills, icy sidewalks, and broken glass, and resolving promptly.

  • Replace interior and exterior lights, maintaining a well-lit store environment.

  • Leverage training tools, use resources, and embrace feedback to build knowledge of operational processes and procedures and strengthen performance. Stay informed of products, promotions, policies, and store events to enhance execution.

  • Contribute to a positive store culture by building connections with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating individual and team achievements.

  • Enhance in-store customer experience by warmly acknowledging and assisting customers, supporting the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and completing other tasks as assigned.

  • Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols, supporting store shortage control and minimizing risk.
