A day in the life.
As our Client Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you'll communicate thoroughly with clients and vendors to ensure a common understanding of each issue, where an issue stands at any given time, and ultimately how each issue is resolved. Additionally, you will market new and renewal business, maintain rapport with clients and carrier representatives, and be familiar and knowledgeable with multiple carrier guidelines, products and plan options. You'll be asked to develop effective business relationships with assigned clients through day-to-day services assistance, and act as the liaison between client and vendors/carriers to resolve issues. Finally, you will assist with marketing data gathering including assembly of census, claims, and policy specific information for benefit plans.
Our future colleague.
We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of human resources and/or benefit insurance experience.
- Familiarity with insurance company markets, binding authority, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with clients, vendors, and co-workers, and to maintain a positive team environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to negotiate, evaluate client needs, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter with strong time management skills, capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, human resources, communication, or a related field preferred.
- Life & Health State License (required within 3 months of hire).
