This position will assist in all areas of the shop including fabrication of hoses and related product. Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but not be limited to: Industrial and hydraulic hose area with basic duties such as hose banding and crimping, roll, cut or test hoses. Participate in Clean shop and safety regulations. Participate in counting inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock (i.e., tag, stack, sort, keep organized). Clean equipment and all shop areas. Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming goods to verify receipt of items against shipping notice, records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications. May inspect, accept, or reject goods received. Input stock items into computer and store in the assigned location in or around the warehouse. Stock the counter area, take counter sales orders, and builds relationships with our customers and associates; resolves customer problems promptly and accurately in a manner that will retain and promote customer loyalty. Accurately picks will call and/or counter orders; ensures will call and/or counter orders are ready when the customer arrives. Load and unload product and deliveries as needed. Education and Experience: High school or equivalent (GED) required 1 year of prior mechanical experience in an industrial or automotive shop environment preferred. We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Fabricator Worker for our McCarty Equipment - Williston, ND branch. This position will assist in all areas of the shop including fabrication of hoses and related product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Industrial and hydraulic hose area with basic duties such as hose banding and crimping, roll, cut or test hoses.
  • Participate in Clean shop and safety regulations.
  • Participate in counting inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock (i.e., tag, stack, sort, keep organized). Clean equipment and all shop areas.
  • Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming goods to verify receipt of items against shipping notice, records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications. May inspect, accept, or reject goods received.
  • Input stock items into computer and store in the assigned location in or around the warehouse.
  • Stock the counter area, take counter sales orders, and builds relationships with our customers and associates; resolves customer problems promptly and accurately in a manner that will retain and promote customer loyalty.
  • Accurately picks will call and/or counter orders; ensures will call and/or counter orders are ready when the customer arrives.
  • Load and unload product and deliveries as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school or equivalent (GED) required
  • 1 year of prior mechanical experience in an industrial or automotive shop environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Screening.
  • Wages: $19.00-$21.00 hourly or DOE
