Under the direction of the Program Manager and the Aerospace Systems Corporate Quality Manager, this position works in close coordination with site leadership, supply and maintenance managers, and customer stakeholders to maintain program-wide standards of operational performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple geographically dispersed sites. JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Quality Assurance (QA) Management Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) for all T-6 COMBS activities in accordance with company, contractual, and DoD aviation maintenance standards. Conduct internal quality audits, inspections, and evaluations to ensure compliance with FAA, DoD, and V2X maintenance and supply chain policies. Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures, work instructions, and performance metrics. Monitor maintenance documentation, tool control, and parts handling procedures for compliance and accuracy. Oversee corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs; track discrepancies, deficiencies, and trends to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with Program and Site Managers to ensure quality data and metrics are captured, analyzed, and reported to leadership and customers. Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Oversight Manage and enforce environmental, health, and safety programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, DoD, and local regulations. Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations across all T-6 COMBS sites. Ensure all personnel are trained and qualified on safety procedures, hazard communication, PPE use, and emergency response. Lead risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to identify and mitigate workplace hazards. Develop and implement environmental programs for waste management, hazardous materials, and pollution prevention. Coordinate EHS audits and interface with local and federal regulatory agencies as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS compliance, safety data reporting, and emergency response planning. Program Support & Compliance Support the Program Manager and Aerospace Systems Corporate Quality Manager in ensuring all COMBS operations meet or exceed contractual performance metrics and safety standards. Review maintenance and supply processes for adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100/AS9110/AS9120 principles. Develop and maintain QA/EHS documentation to support contract deliverables and audits. Ensure compliance with all V2X corporate policies, government regulations, and performance work statement (PWS) requirements. Training & Continuous Improvement Develop and conduct training programs for QA and EHS awareness, maintenance procedures, and operational excellence. Promote a safety-first culture through proactive leadership, hazard recognition, and employee engagement. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Analyze quality and safety performance data to identify trends and drive corrective actions. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Safety, Engineering or related field (or equivalent military training), Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation maintenance, quality assurance, or safety management in a DoD or FAA-regulated environment. Prior experience in QA/EHS management within a military or contractor-operated aviation maintenance or supply program. In-depth knowledge of aviation maintenance quality systems, DoD supply procedures, and environmental health and safety regulations. Experience working with Quality Management System requirements in Government contracting such as ISO 9001:2015, AS9100/AS9110, OSHA, and EPA compliance standards. Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, customers, and government representatives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QA/EHS management software. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
