Attend Protestant Advisory Council (PAC) meetings as a non-voting member and brief the PAC on relevant RE issues.    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit, train, and supervise all Protestant RE volunteers Program and teach the children’s church programs at all WS(s) when available PWC volunteer support is incapable, unwilling, or unqualified to lead children’s church. A fully trained and properly vetted volunteer can teach children’s church instead of the PREC. Coordinate HC facility setup, equipment, and resources for all RE programs and events, ensuring facilities are opened before the program starts and fully secured and cleaned after the program ends. Develop and maintain electronic records. Recommend curriculum/programing for the next FY’s Protestant RE cycle to the LPC by 15 July of the current year. Provide pre-approved curriculum/lesson plans to all scheduled RE volunteers at least one week in advance of the volunteer program execution. Coordinate and facilitate the annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) and other special RE events as requested by the LPC. The PREC will recruit volunteers, register children, and promote the event(s). Record attendance at all RE programs and events and report numbers on a weekly basis to the PCC. Assist the LPC or sponsoring chaplain by providing information necessary for reporting in the Air Force Chaplain Corps Activity Reporting System (AFCCARS) or similar contexts as requested. Navy Construction Instructor- Gulfport MS The Instructor will develop training materials and provide hands-on education to personnel. The trainer will maintain records of training activities and employee progress and monitor effectiveness of programs. Under the guidance and supervision of the Training Manager, the Trainer will administer, organize, and conduct training and educational programs in connection with management and promotional development, on-the-job training, and employee orientation. Experience Five (5) years specialize experience as Navy Instructor required Experience with developing and delivering training topics preferred Skills & Abilities Experience Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) Content Planning Module Instructor personnel shall be a certified Journeyman in the area in which they are providing primary training. Instructor personnel shall have Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 9502/805A Instructor or other service equivalent. The Instructor shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience documented through work experience from the private sector, military or both, or appropriate valid certifications equivalent to the NEC 9502/805A. The Instructor personnel shall have the ability documented through work experience to operate visual information equipment (LCD projectors, smart boards, document cameras, or other visual aid equipment) that can be utilized as training aides. The Instructor personnel shall have experience documented through work experience in the use and operations of computers and other automated office equipment used to produce and grade exams, prepare reports and input/extract data. Instructor personnel must obtain a favorable determination from a National Agency Check Local Agency and Credit check (NACLC) investigation. Maintain valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) qualification. Requires working knowledge of Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC). Requires working knowledge of enterprise Navy Training Reservation System (eNTRS) The Trainer also needs to be knowledgeable of the NETC programs, policies and procedures, to include instructional systems design and developing Navy curricula IAW NAVEDTRA standards Must have the ability to provide data entry services to enter approved course information into any other identified electronic systems as required by CNRFC and higher authority Must be able to pass applicable NAVY background investigation.   • Perform simple to complex structural analysis and design, from basic static design to dynamic, non-linear analysis using finite element and single and multiple degree of freedom methods.
  • Work with engineers to perform both static and dynamic structural analysis for extreme events
  • Prepare calculation packages, technical reports of analysis and recommendations
  • Limited travel may be involved to collect site-specific information
  • Participate in testing depending on project requirements, and interact with existing clients as well as develop business with new clients and markets.

Staff Protective Design Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with an emphasis in structural dynamics and structural design.
  • This position requires a security clearance.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Some items considered for obtaining a security clearance are credit (including bankruptcy), felony convictions, prior drug use, and U.S. Citizenship.
  • Candidates must be independent, self-motivated and have excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills.

Staff Protective Design Engineer Preferences:

  • GPA of at least 3.00
  • M.S. is preferred
  • Related work experience or internship experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of finite element methods and engineering software including MathCad, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, and AutoCAD or similar is preferred.
  • An interest in project management and business development is beneficial.
