Proficient with firearms. Proficient in basic first aid. Make written and oral offense, informational and accident reports. Testify in college disciplinary and civil court proceedings. When the Governor of the State of Mississippi or the President of Hinds Community College declares a State of Emergency, it is the responsibility of all personnel of the Police Department to ensure the safety and security of the College. Therefore, each Officer and any other essential Department personnel will be required to come to work as assigned by the Chief of Police or their designee. This shall include the voiding of any and all days off and the extension of duty hours. Any Officer or personnel failing to meet this duty requirement will face possible termination.
