POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver Trainee will be trained by Republic Services to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) to then assume the responsibility of a Driver with our Company. Driver Trainees will complete a comprehensive training program and be given the resources to take the CDL examination. Once the Driver Trainee completes the program and obtains a CDL, the incumbent will be moved into a Driver position in one of the Company's lines of business, including but not limited to, Residential, Commercial, Industrial or Roll-Off. Learn to perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the assigned vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order. Learn to safely operate a heavy or commercial truck along a designated route and to the disposal site; read route sheet, follow map and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor. Learn to operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facility. Learn to identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers in accordance with applicable departmental procedures. Learn to continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste. Continuously monitor the condition of any assigned vehicle to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. After obtaining a CDL, perform all responsibilities of a Driver in one of the Company's lines of business (i.e., Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Roll-Off). This position requires an understanding of the Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR), and the DOE Property Management Regulations (DOE-PMR) and supply chain management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and control all accountable property located within an assigned custodial area, in close coordination with federal and contractor oversight staff and the OST Property Management Program. Maintain OST property records for an assigned custodial area in the OST property database. Participate in all scheduled VPMS and property meetings, conferences and training events. Serves as the TSTS key staff person for automated supply management functions to include the creation and sustainment of data base management and other automated systems. Assist in Logistics duties as directed by the TSTS Property Lead to include the set up and tear down of ranges and other training facilities. Manage excess property program to ensure cradle to grave accountability of OST Equipment. 360 Painting is a well-known, fast growing national paint company specializing in residential and commercial re-repaints, which has been featured as Top Business Magazine's top-ranked painting company in 2018 & 2019. 360° Painting seeks an experienced sales representative to perform sales appointments following our proven sales process, initiate lead generating programs, attend networking events, follow up on completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction, and complete performance reports to measure important KPI's. The ideal candidate will be an organized and detail-oriented individual who serves as the liaison between business, employee, and customer needs. Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, communication, organization and leadership skills
  • Manage the sales flow for all in bound leads
  • Must develop relationships with the customer base to ensure excellent customer relations
  • Track KPI's through weekly performance reports
  • Initiate lead generation programs
  • Attend networking events
  • Schedule estimates for leads as they are generated
  • Complete sales appointments following our proven sales process
  • Follow up with all work not landed on the spot
  • Provide an extraordinary customer experience
  • Perform field visits to ensure high quality work and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers
  • Complete necessary administrative paperwork and duties
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Attend weekly review meetings with the owner as scheduled
  • Communicate and report daily with management.
  • Will need to work independently, as well as with a team.
  • Provide excellent customer service, communication, organization and leadership skills.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous experience in the residential/ commercial paint field - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies
  • Ability to learn and teach new processes
  • Strong computer and software skills
  • Knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies used in the residential/commercial paint industry
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and general public
  • Customer service-oriented outlook on business
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and report daily with employees, customers, and owner.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to organize multiple projects, manage rapidly shifting priorities and produce tangible, measurable results
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and be punctual
  • Basic business math and good written and verbal communication skills to coordinate activities with all levels of management
  • Must have valid drivers' license with good driving record and be insurable
  • Must be high energy, with sales ability, and the ability to handle rejection

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3+ years of management experience that would provide the skills and abilities that is necessary to complete the job.
  • College degree preferred

Experience

  • 2-5 years' related experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
