The Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) Ground Support Equipment team is seeking highly qualified applicants for a position as a JSF Support Equipment (SE) Mechanic, at Ebbing ANGB, Arkansas; This position performs assembly, installation, maintenance, and repairs on program provided ground support equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of both F-35 ground support equipment, as well as tool room based support equipment. To include Engine back shop support equipment as necessary. May be required to perform occasional nonstandard maintenance on equipment based on nature of maintenance need. Maintains appropriate maintenance, inventory, and repair logs. Uses a variety of hand, power, and test equipment. Frequently enters data into the Logistics Management System to document any maintenance action performed on equipment. Also, may be required to take on additional duties ie. driver training program, safety POC etc. You will be required to conduct familiarization of equipment theory and operation to new employees in the same job position, or to the customer during day to day operations. May require infrequent travel to other F-35 locations to participate in equipment training classes, and participate in short term customer support assignments at off-site locations as necessary. DC Facility Maintenance Supervisor- 5K Sign On Bonus

Overall Job Summary This position is responsible for assisting in the leading of the Facility Maintenance Team at a TSC distribution center, the Facility Maintenance Supervisor will assist in the planning, development and execution of the preventive maintenance program for the distribution center's mobile material handling vehicles, package conveyor system, the building and it's supporting mechanical, electrical, and other equipment and systems. The Supervisor will assist the FMM in developing and executing a comprehensive maintenance program covering preventive and routine maintenance of all the DC's equipment and systems, excluding the Information Systems hardware and software. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Assist in supervising the daily activities of all facility maintenance and housekeeping workers and maintenance helpers. Ensure standardization of the maintenance practices, positions, and records. Develop and monitor adherence to standard maintenance procedures and schedules. Monitor the performance of all assigned equipment and systems and conduct a variety of maintenance services to ensure the availability and performance of the equipment and building systems. Maintain local spare parts, tools and equipment, purchase replacement parts and components as needed, and maintain sufficient local knowledge of operations to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the facility and systems. Update and maintain all spare parts and replacement schedules when new equipment or systems are installed. Maintain a prioritized list and implementation schedule for all maintenance and housekeeping activities and general services in concert with the facility Operations Management plan. Participate in facility operations meetings and management reviews to coordinate operations with maintenance activities. Assisting with the tracking and maintaining of certificates of occupancy, occupant safety, and compliance (i.e. HVAC, fire, elevator, OSHA), in accord with all relevant state, local, and federal codes and regulations relating to the building and its equipment and systems. Required Qualifications Experience: A minimum of five years of full-time experience in facilities and equipment maintenance management is required. Demonstrated expertise in facility maintenance, staff supervision, some budgeting, and maintenance training is necessary. Proven success in maintaining mobile material handling vehicles (fork trucks), powered conveyor and sortation systems, storage racks and fixtures, and various building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and related equipment is required. The position requires an individual who can articulate a sound philosophy of maintenance management techniques who values teamwork concepts and is able to coordinate and supervise a diverse team of maintenance specialists Experience with modern powered conveyor systems, fork truck equipment, and computer-based maintenance systems is preferred. Education: Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma with a technical school certificate or higher education, preferably in facility maintenance or related areas; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered. Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of advanced equipment maintenance tracking software applications, safety standards programs, and formal building maintenance programs. Direct experience with leading a comprehensive maintenance program. Significant leadership skills in supervising other maintenance workers in problem solving, communication, time management, and multi-tasking. Ability and proficiency with cost/benefit analysis and capital expenditure justification. Ability to develop, write and enforce policies and procedures. Ability to work as a team and to work independently, positively handle conflict, and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD, and other related software). Must be proficient in English (spoken and written) for communicating with maintenance and operating staff, contractors and local officials. Detailed knowledge and demonstrated skills in general plumbing, electrical, HVAC, building maintenance (i.e. carpentry, painting, masonry), fork truck and conveying equipment maintenance, life safety systems, and other general trades, including electrical and motor circuitry, machine repair and installation, building automation and systems, plumbing and piping, water treatment systems, hydraulics, workplace ergonomics and safety. The Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) Ground Support Equipment team is seeking highly qualified applicants for a position as a JSF Support Equipment (SE) Mechanic, at Ebbing ANGB, Arkansas;

This position performs assembly, installation, maintenance, and repairs on program provided ground support equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of both F-35 ground support equipment, as well as tool room based support equipment. To include Engine back shop support equipment as necessary. May be required to perform occasional nonstandard maintenance on equipment based on nature of maintenance need. Maintains appropriate maintenance, inventory, and repair logs. Uses a variety of hand, power, and test equipment. Frequently enters data into the Logistics Management System to document any maintenance action performed on equipment. Also, may be required to take on additional duties ie. driver training program, safety POC etc.

You will be required to conduct familiarization of equipment theory and operation to new employees in the same job position, or to the customer during day to day operations. May require infrequent travel to other F-35 locations to participate in equipment training classes, and participate in short term customer support assignments at off-site locations as necessary.

Must be able to operate in a constantly evolving maintenance environment.

US Citizenship is required. A final DoD Secret Security Clearance is required prior to starting.

Candidate MUST be able to relocate near Ebbing ANGB, Arkansas in order to assume this role

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years experience with AGE / GSE equipment maintenance with USAF, USMC, or USN

Ability to frequently lift / pull / push equipment over 50lbs

Ability to acquire and maintain a local flightline drivers certification

Capable of working in hazardous flightline environment

Candidate must be willing and able to support operations on both Dayshift/Swingshift/midshift, depending on shop / customer needs

Desired Skills:

Prior military flightline maintenance experience in AGE / GSE sustainment preferred.

Excellent communication skills

Keen ability to be a self-starter

Certified in Refrigerant service and reclamation - CFC/HCFC Refrigerant Processing Certificate

Support Equipment data management experience;

Familiarity with DoD maintenance manuals;

Experience with military standard maintenance practices

Strong personal work ethic and maintenance quality mindset.

Proficient using MS Office Software including; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook; Highly computer literate

Experience using engineering drawings and technical data.

Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards
