The Specialist is dedicated to providing expertise in a specific area, supporting the organisation's objectives through the application of specialised knowledge and skills.

This role focuses on delivering high quality results in their area of expertise and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrates strong communication capabilities in an international environment.
• Knowledge of end-to-end air and sea freight export/import operations.
• Collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including through telephone communication.
• Demonstrates effective time management skills to consistently meet deadlines
• Demonstrates a proactive approach by anticipating potential issues and recommending alternative solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines.
• Adapt quickly to changes in process, scope, or arrangements.
• Consistently deliver high-quality performance in daily operations.

Preferred Educational Background / Work Experience

• Work experience in international logistics or freight forwarding
• 3 years of experience in air freight and sea freight operation

Language Skills

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Other languages (written and spoken) beneficial

Computer Literacy

• Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Excel - advanced skills
• CargoWise One experience is an advantage.

Working Condition

• Onsite Work
• Available to work flexible schedules, including overnight (graveyard) shifts.
• Available to work on rest days and holidays if required.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
