From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: Meet efficiency budget levels while producing high quality products. Ensure the cheese is properly sealed before placing it in correct containers. Prepares correct packages and boxes for the days cheese being packaged. Loads and operates machines at a set speed and with minimal stops during process. Accurately complete associated CCP and line operation paperwork while maintaining efficiencies. Maintain clean and organized work area. Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow. Weigh cheese. Maintain open line of communication with all line workers and supervisor. Perform sanitation duties as assigned. Report problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisor. Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager. Ensure proper use, identification, mixture, and application of chemicals, including the requirements and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Perform other work duties as assigned. Job Summary The Maintenance Technician reports to a Property Manager and works to ensure apartment homes and facilities for an assigned apartment community are in good working order and maintained to standards for 11Residential.  Primary responsibilities include prompt and courteous responses to service requests; an adequate supply of market-ready apartments to meet leasing demand; property appearance which meets or exceeds standards.    What you'll be doing  Complete general maintenance tasks, including service requests, turnover-functions, and curb appeal in a timely manner.  Troubleshoot and repair most major and all minor mechanical systems.  Complete all service orders with minimal callbacks.  Ensure property, vacant apartments and common areas are clean.  Work with and/or around paints, pool chemicals and other potentially hazardous materials.  Always provide professional customer service.  Travel through different assets when assistance is needed.   Available for emergency call duties and weekend work.  Other duties as assigned.  Education and Qualifications  1 or more years of experience in property maintenance, general maintenance/construction, and/or a related field. The General Labor II Packaging Associate will be responsible for assuring the finished product meets quality standard and the product identification is correct. Assumes responsibility for the operational flow of machines. Ensures the product meets Sorrento Lactalis, Inc. Standards throughout the process and at no time the quality of the cheese is compromised.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Meet efficiency budget levels while producing high quality products.
  • Ensure the cheese is properly sealed before placing it in correct containers.
  • Prepares correct packages and boxes for the days cheese being packaged.
  • Loads and operates machines at a set speed and with minimal stops during process.
  • Accurately complete associated CCP and line operation paperwork while maintaining efficiencies.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow.
  • Weigh cheese.
  • Maintain open line of communication with all line workers and supervisor.
  • Perform sanitation duties as assigned.
  • Report problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisor.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.
  • Ensure proper use, identification, mixture, and application of chemicals, including the requirements and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Perform other work duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or completion of GED preferred but not required.

Experience

  • Knowledge of Packaging Processes

. Food handling experience preferred but not required

. Experience in general cleaning, chemical handling

Skills / Abilities

. Oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to work independently and be part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning productions.
  • Ability and willingness to adhere to attendance requirements, including regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.
  • Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe work.
