JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Field Service Technician I - Twin Falls, ID to join our growing team. THE ROLE As a Window and Door Field Service Technician at JELD-WEN, you will be a key member of the Site Service & Warranty team. You will be responsible for performing service work on various products, and accurately inspect JELD-WEN window and door products to find root cause of the service issue. You will report directly to the Field Services Manager. This is a remote role and applicant must reside within a 20- mile radius from Twin Falls, ID. The territory for this position will be between Boise, ID; Missoula, MT; Billings, MT; and Salt Lake City, UT. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Complete daily assigned warranty field service tasks, while taking quality photos and producing accurate and complete reporting of product and construction issues. Maintain tools and service vehicle in proper and safe working order. Operate a company service vehicle in a safe and considerate manner. Become familiar with all JELD-WEN products in your coverage region. Follow JELD-WEN policies and procedures while operating safely, professionally, and efficiently. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Weekly travel with some overnight and overtime is a requirement in this position, along with flexible working hours. High School Diploma or HSED. Must have a valid driver's license as well as a clean driving record. 5 years field service technician experience (or experience in the same or similar industry is a plus.) Must have carpentry skills, be able to use hand and power tools and measuring devices. The ability to lift 50-75 lbs., climb, lift, pull; and safely perform tasks on a ladder, scaffolding, or other raised devices. Knowledge of window and door installation and repair practices. Education and Experience Previous experience in construction or similar environment is preferred. Be dependable, self-motivated, have the ability to problem solve and contribute to building a positive team environment. Job Description

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Field Service Technician I - Twin Falls, ID to join our growing team.

THE ROLE

As a Window and Door Field Service Technician at JELD-WEN, you will be a key member of the Site Service & Warranty team. You will be responsible for performing service work on various products, and accurately inspect JELD-WEN window and door products to find root cause of the service issue. You will report directly to the Field Services Manager.

This is a remote role and applicant must reside within a 20- mile radius from Twin Falls, ID. The territory for this position will be between Boise, ID; Missoula, MT; Billings, MT; and Salt Lake City, UT.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete daily assigned warranty field service tasks, while taking quality photos and producing accurate and complete reporting of product and construction issues.
  • Maintain tools and service vehicle in proper and safe working order.
  • Operate a company service vehicle in a safe and considerate manner.
  • Become familiar with all JELD-WEN products in your coverage region.
  • Follow JELD-WEN policies and procedures while operating safely, professionally, and efficiently.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Weekly travel with some overnight and overtime is a requirement in this position, along with flexible working hours.
  • High School Diploma or HSED.
  • Must have a valid driver's license as well as a clean driving record.
  • 5 years field service technician experience (or experience in the same or similar industry is a plus.)
  • Must have carpentry skills, be able to use hand and power tools and measuring devices.
  • The ability to lift 50-75 lbs., climb, lift, pull; and safely perform tasks on a ladder, scaffolding, or other raised devices.
  • Knowledge of window and door installation and repair practices.

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in construction or similar environment is preferred.
  • Be dependable, self-motivated, have the ability to problem solve and contribute to building a positive team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

Shift: 1st, overtime available, possible overnight travel (up to 75%). In addition to a competitive wage, you will be provided the following:
