Able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat repetitively for long periods of time.   Utilizing NetSuite and ShipHawk software to manage production records, entering completion data, building work orders and updating inventory.  Follow Lean manufacturing principles to help reduce waste and improve efficiency in packing and overall processes.   Communicating effectively with team members and working to ensure a smooth flow of operations.  Comfortable working in a high-speed, fast-paced environment with frequent task changes.  Cargo Nets   Read and understand work orders.  Audit orders for accuracy.   Operate automatic sewing machines to assemble cargo nets.  Maintain productivity by meeting daily output requirements.  Perform repetitive motions while seated for extended periods of time.  Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.  Sew straps using manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner.   Pack cargo nets: must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat repetitively for long periods of time.   Nylon Slings   Read and understand work orders.  Audit orders for accuracy.   Operate sewing machines to assemble transportation Nylon Slings.  Maintain productivity by meeting daily output requirements.  Perform repetitive motions while seated for extended periods of time.  Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.  Sew straps using manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner.   Pack nylon slings: Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat repetitively for long periods of time.   As a growing team, you should be prepared to perform other duties as assigned at any time. We are seeking highly motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our fast-paced manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Associate. This hybrid role blends hands-on sewing line operations with efficient packaging responsibilities, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of production. You’ll be instrumental in assembling USCC transportation tie-down products, packing orders with precision, and supporting continuous improvement across all operations. 

Hours:
2nd Shift, Part-time: 4:00pm - 9:00pm

Starting Pay:   
$12 – 14.50/hr based on experience, Part-Time Benefits

What’s Expected:
To remain agile, team members will be cross-trained and expected to contribute outside their areas of expertise. All team members will begin their training in strap manufacturing/packing and remain until a satisfactory knowledge of our products is acquired. We produce a wide range of products, so attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused in a repetitive environment is critical.    

Physical Requirements:   
Must be able to repeatedly lift 50lbs. This position at times requires repetitive hand and arm movement. Must be able to engage in repetitive bending, kneeling, sitting, and squatting movements.


Primary areas of focus within our Manufacturing:
  
Tie Down (Strap Manufacturing)  

  • Read and understand work orders. 
  • Audit orders for accuracy.  
  • Operate automatic sewing machines to assemble transportation tie-down straps. 
  • Maintain productivity by meeting daily output requirements. 
  • Perform repetitive motions while seated for extended periods of time. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. 
  • Sew straps using manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner.    

Tie Down Packing  

  • Maintain order accuracy through proper documentation and organization.  
  • Pack numerous different orders efficiently and accurately off of a conveyor belt, ensuring products are prepared for shipment in a timely manner. 
  • Lift 50ilbs repeatedly. Able to bend, kneel, stand, and squat repetitively for long periods of time.  
  • Utilizing NetSuite and ShipHawk software to manage production records, entering completion data, building work orders and updating inventory. 
  •  Follow Lean manufacturing principles to help reduce waste and improve efficiency in packing and overall processes.  
  • Communicating effectively with team members and working to ensure a smooth flow of operations. 
  • Comfortable working in a high-speed, fast-paced environment with frequent task changes. 

Cargo Nets   

  • Read and understand work orders. 
  • Audit orders for accuracy.  
  • Operate automatic sewing machines to assemble cargo nets. 
  • Maintain productivity by meeting daily output requirements. 
  • Perform repetitive motions while seated for extended periods of time. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Nylon Slings

Equipment:
