Friendship Village Retirement Community is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist. As the Billing specialist you will:

• Update census information daily
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of resident and insurance billing.
• Following up on denied or unpaid claims, including appeals and resubmissions.
• Reconciling claims billing reports.
• Prepare therapy orders and obtain prior authorizations if required.
• Prepare weekly deposits.
• Answer resident billing questions.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have an Associate's Degree in Medical Billing or 2 years of Medical Billing Experience.
• Exceptional computer skills, especially Office suites including excel.
• Experience with Point Click Care or other Long Term Care resident systems is a plus.
• Must be self-driven, have outstanding organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test
