Job Description
Summary: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the entire receiving process, including coordinating deliveries, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining an efficient workflow. This position is the point of contact for vendors and internal departments and must ensure that supplies are accurately located and distributed effectively and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned:
- Establish and maintain accurate par levels for all standard products across all departments (Food & Beverage, Hotel, Housekeeping, Marketing, Engineering, etc.).
- Regularly review and adjust par levels based on demand, seasonality, and special events.
- Execute all procurement and ordering activities based on established par levels, including:
- Food, alcohol, coffee shop, and bars.
- Supply orders for the kitchen, bars, restaurant, coffee shop, hotel, and public housekeeping.
- Exercise independent judgment regarding receiving priorities.
- Act as the primary contact for outbound shipments as necessary.
- Receive, sort, and store all incoming deliveries, ensuring proper organization and efficient access.
- Verify the quantity and quality of received products, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Reconcile all deliveries with purchase orders, shipping documents, and invoices.
- Input all delivery information accurately into the Red Rock Purchasing System.
- Maintain accurate inventory control by ensuring received goods are properly documented.
- Assist accounting in conducting inventory counts.
- Ensure proper product storage in freezers and storage areas, utilizing the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method to prevent spoilage and damage.
- Deliver all incoming shipments to the appropriate requesting departments and/or storage facilities promptly.
- Move and stage all marketing giveaways and storage items as required.
- Contact the appropriate departments for necessary backup paperwork.
- Segregate shipments to be returned, record reasons for returns, and coordinate with Purchasing for pickup of rejected shipments.
- Coordinate with various departments regarding shipments to be returned.
- Follow proper procedures when receiving sensitive deliveries.
- Maintain the general cleanliness and organization of all storage facilities and the receiving dock at all times.
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures in a timely manner.
- Attach date identification to received items.
- Assist in other warehouse or inventory-related tasks as assigned.
- Maintain and understand compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Enforce all policies and procedures.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.
