Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Routine cleaning to providing a clean environment. Ensures the cleanliness of patient rooms, public areas, lounges, restrooms and other assigned areas in such a way as to ensure that the departments/ clinics standards are maintained. Duties include cleaning rooms and offices, empty trash and linen receptacles, vacuum, dust, sanitize and spot clean, check and fill all dispensers, clean restrooms, dry mop floors, sanitize floors. Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain the hospital, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming. May perform the destruction of discarded patient health information.

  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, micro-fiber rags, and squeegees.

  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
