GENERAL SUMMARY This position will provide legal support to Stratacor, its insurance affiliates, including Delta Dental of Minnesota, Delta Dental of Nebraska, DDMN ASO, LLC, Health Ventures Network, and other affiliates. The primary focus in this role is providing legal support services for dental and other ancillary insurance product lines and insurance business operations. Responsibilities will also include assistance in contract preparation and document management related to providing legal support for all Stratacor entities and affiliates. This position will be with Stratacor, an affiliate of Delta Dental of Minnesota. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Serve as support to other legal team members in managing steady volume of legal inquiries and external requests and notices relating to legal matters, including but not limited to, subrogation inquiries, powers of attorney, guardianship and child custody orders, coordination of benefits, authorizations to release information, subpoenas, and legal research. Identify and collect information and data required to support a sufficient review and analysis of these legal inquiries and external requests. Provide administrative support to legal department team members with legal documents, including but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements, consulting agreements, master service agreements and statement of works, vendor agreements, requests for proposals, corporate records, correspondence, reports and presentations. Provide document management for legal department matters, including document organization and review, maintenance of correspondence and filing, coordination of document distributions, and communication with legal professionals (internal and external), regulators, internal clients and vendors. Conduct research and analysis of potential Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) incidents to support internal reviews and risk mitigation. Update legal documents related to the support services performed upon direction of legal department staff. Manage high volume of contract requests, including coordinating and tracking electronic signatures to completion. Provide other organizational, administrative, and legal assistance with regard to legal department activities and duties as assigned. The Opportunity

We're looking for a Corporate Legal Intern to join our Legal team for 12 weeks in the summer of 2026. The Corporate Legal Intern will sit within our Legal Corporate and Compliance team and work on / own projects supporting Superhuman (formerly known as Grammarly) and its subsidiaries' corporate governance, legal compliance, and strategic transactional matters, ranging from investor relations to mergers and acquisitions and financings. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders and decision-makers (such as corporate development, equity, compensation, accounting, and finance), as well as the full legal team. Superhuman is a growing, AI-focused company, and this Corporate Legal Intern will have a unique opportunity to see how Legal, Corporate, and Compliance functions within such an organization.

As Superhuman's first Corporate Legal Intern, you will collaborate cross-functionally on some of our most complex and impactful legal questions. In this role, you will:

  • Work on at least one end-to-end legal challenge directly related to Superhuman's high-level goals and priorities.
  • Develop expertise in problem-solving, legal issue spotting, and pragmatically assessing legal risk for complex and high-impact corporate legal matters.
  • Gain early exposure to corporate governance and strategic transactional work from an in-house perspective, including assessing, advising, and balancing corporate and compliance-related legal issues against business needs.
  • Build and sharpen your business and transactional legal drafting skills.
  • Perform legal research, analyze findings, document actionable findings, and give oral presentations of your findings to internal partners.
  • Collaborate with a friendly and experienced team of legal and business professionals to get exposure to various in-house legal practices.
  • Leverage and contribute your unique perspective to share feedback on legal strategy and risk management.
  • Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.

We're looking for someone who

  • Is a current 1L with a demonstrated interest in corporate law, strategic transactions, governance, and compliance.
  • Prior experience in a role at a company supporting business-side stakeholders pre-law school is a definite plus, but not a dealbreaker.
  • Is able to collaborate in person at least once a week in our San Francisco hub (likely Thursday, but to be determined) throughout the internship.
  • Brings a problem-solving and detail-oriented approach to their work, a track record of excellent organizational skills, and unfailing follow-up to effectively manage multiple activities of varying difficulty, priority, and complexity.
  • Has strong and practical business judgment and demonstrates the ability to independently move projects forward by gaining support from others while working in a cross-functional role.
  • Brings an entrepreneurial drive and comfort working in ambiguous, quickly changing environments.
  • Has a strong sense of accountability and integrity, taking ownership of projects and responsibilities and resolving issues proactively.
  • Is a great communicator and has a service mindset that empowers others to hit their goals.

Compensation

The expected pay for this position is $38.00 USD/hour and may be modified in the future.
