Crosby logo
CrosbyNew York City, New York
Welcome to Crosby We're a team of technologists and legal experts collaborating closely to reimagine corporate legal services from the ground up. We build proprietary technology and human-in-the-loop workflows to enhance the lawyer-machine relationship radically. We want to review complex documents, for example, faster than ever, and with perfect quality. Crosby was founded by Ryan (Penn, Stanford Law, ex-Cooley, former GC) and John (Penn M&T, ex-Ramp, ex-Google). We believe: A great legal system is the watermark of a great society. Legal work is an art and science. We want to discover the frontier between the two and codify the scientific parts, which is a magnificent puzzle. Selling work, not software, is the best way to realize the productivity gains of GenAI for professional services. In an in-person culture at our NYC office. The Role You will design and scale the way we onboard and engage new clients. This is a tactical client-facing role with strategic leverage: you’ll take ownership of recurring workflows for all new clients and find ways to deliver consistent, high-quality legal work as quickly as possible. You will own the process of learning and ingesting information about our clients as quickly and creatively as possible. This is a huge problem that law firms haven’t solved yet; you’ll work cross-functionally with lawyers and engineers to finally fix this. This role is part execution, part pattern recognition—and a strong fit for someone who is organized likes creating structure. What You'll Do Manage client onboardings (project manage each step, run all calls, build knowledge bases) Own client knowledge. Decide the right ways to structure this using database and LLMs, build them for each client, and update them Spot gaps in our current workflows and products and suggest fixes—template it once so it’s repeatable Collaborate with legal, operations, and client success to improve how we deliver and scale What We’re Looking For: 1-3 years of experience in law, consulting, finance, or a similarly analytical and high pressure environment. You pay attention to detail and don’t wait to be told twice You’re interested in how high-performing legal and client-facing teams operate Proven ability to own complex systems or projects end-to-end, especially in ambiguous or high-stakes settings. Why Work at Crosby: Work closely with world-class lawyers, engineers and operators on meaningful problem Join a thoughtful, driven, low-ego team that values execution Competitive salary and equity compensation. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. Unlimited PTO In-person team in NYC with a collaborative, high-energy environment. Note: Crosby is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, reproductive health decisions, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, genetic information, political views or activity, or other applicable legally protected characteristics. Pursuant to New York Labor Law Section 194-b, US Pay Range is $80,000 - $130,000 which represents the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (SaaS subscriptions, MSAs/SOWs, DPAs, NDAs, vendor and partnership agreements) with attention to data, IP, and risk allocation. Advise on corporate governance and compliance: board and stockholder consents, charter/bylaw updates, equity plan administration, 409A, insider matters, and ongoing minute-book hygiene. Required Experience: Strong academic credentials including a J.D. from a top law school. Membership in the New York state bar is required. 2+ years of experience with a top national law firm or in-house with a technology company.
