T & T Hauling and Transport is looking for new team members to join our family-owned business. Candidates must be dependable, energetic, a team player, and meet the following requirements:
  • Maintain a valid and current Class B CDL license (required), and a Class A license is preferred.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience driving a dump truck but will train the right person.
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday and one Saturday of the month.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Pass and maintain D.O.T. physical.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to climb into the truck's body to clean occasionally.
  • Must be able to communicate with job site superintendents, complete daily paperwork, and turn in paperwork daily.
  • May perform other duties or operate other types of trucks.
Job Description:
Operate a quad-axle dump truck, including hauling rock, sand, dirt, and asphalt. The driver must have a cell phone and reliable transportation to and from the truck parking location in Wendell, NC.
Physical Demands:
Heavy physical effort is required, including climbing, pulling, lifting, or moving heavyweight material with occasional lifting or moving materials or equipment (over 50 pounds).
Physical Activity:
The position requires continuously working around noise, dust, heat, cold, oil, and heavy equipment. It also requires the ability to exchange ideas quickly and clearly and receive and evaluate detailed information and instructions.
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
