The Diesel Truck Mechanic uses technical publications or automated systems in maintaining vehicles to prescribed manufacturers’ maintenance schedules and for researching parts. Properly annotate all maintenance and labor performed in maintenance management software. The Diesel Truck Mechanic operates a yard hostler truck to move trailers within the facility yard and the shop as needed. Communicate the need to order and receive parts and supplies as needed. The Diesel Truck Mechanic adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes. Clean, organize, and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. The Diesel Truck Mechanic performs welding repairs as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. The Diesel Truck Mechanic reports directly to The Shop Supervisor.

Job Description
A FedEx Ground contractor based out of KANSAS CITY is now hiring TEAM DRIVERS immediately. Class A CDL with 1 year recent safe driving record in semis within the last 3 years, or 6 months driving experience and a certificate from a FedEx accredited driver training school. Solo and team positions available.
This position includes:
- 100% NO TOUCH freight - all drop and hook
- Home every weekend
- Based out of KANSAS CITY

Company Requirements:
- Class A CDL
- 1 Year of verifiable OTR driving experience within last 3 years
- Clean criminal background
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean MVR

- Pass a drug test
