The truck driver position requires the ability to navigate traffic, be organized, log correct information, have alert driving senses, and get in and out of the truck multiple times a night. You could walk more than 3-4 miles in a night. You will be provided with proper safety equipment (PPE), and you will need to wear pants, a company uniform shirt, and boots. You will apply salt to parking lots using a Salt Truck, and deicers to sidewalks before a winter weather event, and you will inspect parking lots and sidewalks for ice and treat with deicers, after a winter weather event. You will use a skid steer or loader to load salt into your salt truck (training is provided). You will review your scheduled routes, be proactive, and ask questions if the work is unclear.   • Drivers must be willing to drive during the day or during the night.
  • Average miles a week is 1800-2000.


Requirements
  • Must have attended and graduated from an accredited truck driving school with 120+ hours.
  • Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL
  • Must have a fairly clean driving record with no major accidents, tickets, or suspensions within the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have been terminated from last job. Safety to review all criminal convictions.
  • No DUI's Felonies, Misdemeanors in the last 5 years
  • Must have solid 10-year work history with no major gaps of employment outside of school or training.  6 months in the last year and 1 year in the last 3 years max.
  • Must be able to pass a Urine AND HAIR pre-employment drug screen


Benefits
  • $1000-$1100 weekly
  • After training pay is .43-.57 on a sliding pay scale
  • Experienced drivers sliding pay scale .50 - .71 a mile depending on years’ experience
  • Training Pay $650/week for 4-6 weeks if under 6 months experience.
  • Up to .06 per mile monthly safety bonus
