Maintains a clean and sanitary station area. Operates kitchen equipment in assigned station. Inspects freshness, expirations dates and temperatures. Uses proper rotation technique of First in-First Out. Use proper cooking techniques requires for assigned station. Reports any food/ beverage not of usable quality to Supervisor(s) before discarding. Checks stock on a daily basis and rotates products. Cleans workstation for next shift. Communicates needs/ workload requested to next shift. Preforms other duties as assigned. Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures. Interacts with guest in accordance to IMGR&C standards on guest hospitality. Under the general direction of the Truck Driving Director, the Driver Trainer provides comprehensive hands-on training that produces skilled drivers to safely operate Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) and meet industry workforce needs. They will deliver the appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to obtain their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Daytime shift: 6:30am-5pm Monday through Thursday. *subject to change Job Description Essential Functions and Responsibilities The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned. Monitor and train students in the Truck Driving program, WDDC and Truck Driving Contract Training. Schedule and administer student road evaluations. Train and develop students with little or no experience in pre/post trip inspections, shifting, coupling/uncoupling trailers, driving the commercial motor vehicle, and other hands-on activities involving the vehicle. Determine the student’s ability to safely operate commercial motor vehicles on the driving ranges and on public roadways, monitor and document their progress, and provide feedback to the students and faculty. Provide training in emergency driving and skid control techniques as required by the Decision Driving workshop curriculum. Monitor truck driving safety bay to ensure proper usage and cleanliness of facility, parking of units, organization and inventory of items and ensure all program equipment is stored properly. Direct student activity to ensure that the instructional equipment and bay area are kept clean. Job Description

Position Title: Cook 2 – Action Station (all Food & Beverage Outlets)

Reports To:  Lead/Sous Chef

Supervises:  N/A

Summary of Position

 

Prepares all food and/or salads in an assigned station, following cooking guidelines set for the station. Interact with all customers with IMGR&C standards for hospitality. Prepares anything needed for production in the kitchens as requested by a supervisor.

  • Prepares all food items according to prep list and recipes daily.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary station area.
  • Operates kitchen equipment in assigned station.
  • Inspects freshness, expirations dates and temperatures.
  • Uses proper rotation technique of First in-First Out.
  • Use proper cooking techniques requires for assigned station.
  • Reports any food/ beverage not of usable quality to Supervisor(s) before discarding.
  • Checks stock on a daily basis and rotates products.
  • Cleans workstation for next shift.
  • Communicates needs/ workload requested to next shift.
  • Preforms other duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures.
  • Interacts with guest in accordance to IMGR&C standards on guest hospitality.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or six months to one year job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educational and experience may be substituted. Must supply own working tools. Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.

Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.
