Primoris Heavy Civil is currently searching for CDL B Drivers for our Golden Meadow, LA project. Must be able to operate various trucks which are used to move equipment or other materials. Will need to have knowledge in operating various types of trucks: water, dump, concrete, etc. These professionals play a critical role in the transportation industry, ensuring that goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Job Description Operate water trucks, concrete mixers, and dump trucks which are used to transport paving materials, construction supplies, dirt, water, or garbage to and from various locations. Drive trucks equipped with open beds that allow for the transportation of dirt, rocks, sand, coal, or gravel. General Requirements Practice safety rules. Follow verbal and written instructions. Safe use of hand & power tools. Report to and assist immediate supervisor. Perform quality work as determined by project specifications. Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift. Must work well as part of a team. Functional Requirements CDL B required DOT drug screen/physical. Driver must be in DOT compliance at all times. Must be register DACH Move hand and foot levers to control operating equipment. Interpret hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed. Assemble or disassemble equipment or material on construction projects. Manipulate equipment on unleveled working surfaces. Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water and all fluids and performs pre and post trip inspections. Inspects material to ensure it has been loaded correctly and is secure and reviews shipping documents to verify all information is accurate. Qualification Standards Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill (Commercial Driver Licenses). Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation. Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.). Job Description

Operate water trucks, concrete mixers, and dump trucks which are used to transport paving materials, construction supplies, dirt, water, or garbage to and from various locations. Drive trucks equipped with open beds that allow for the transportation of dirt, rocks, sand, coal, or gravel.

General Requirements

  • Practice safety rules.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Safe use of hand & power tools.
  • Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
  • Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
  • Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
