Drives to the delivery destination and physically unloads the vehicle, verifies the parts that are unloaded, obtains signature of the receiving location confirming the parts shown on the order were received and sign off on order. Meeting delivery deadlines. Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays. Always stay alert and oriented in case unexpected hazards are found on the road or to avoid any accidents Must have knowledge of working a GPS and a tablet for signing off on orders. Makes proper notations on the manifest and provides receipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch. Always interact with customers and co-workers professionally. Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use. Notify manager of any vehicle repairs needed in a timely manner. Complies with established driver policies and procedures. Job Description

United Auto Supply is seeking a self-motivated individual to operate a Company Box Truck to deliver product to and from our over flow warehouse. Employee will load and unload delivery truck. Must have an impeccable driving record and be able to pass a DMV abstract search. 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Drives a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents. Must have a clean driving abstract.
  • Physically loads Company vehicle at the branch.
  • Follows best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck/car.
  • Drives to the delivery destination and physically unloads the vehicle, verifies the parts that are unloaded, obtains signature of the receiving location confirming the parts shown on the order were received and sign off on order.
  • Meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
  • Always stay alert and oriented in case unexpected hazards are found on the road or to avoid any accidents
  • Must have knowledge of working a GPS and a tablet for signing off on orders.
  • Makes proper notations on the manifest and provides receipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch.
  • Always interact with customers and co-workers professionally.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
  • Notify manager of any vehicle repairs needed in a timely manner.
  • Complies with established driver policies and procedures.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.
Sunday - Thursday (4pm-12:30am) $22.00
Tuesday - Saturday (4pm-12:30am) $22.50
