We are seeking two fun and dynamic coordinators for our afterschool program at Essex Elementary School.  One coordinator will oversee the 1st and 2nd grade site with 78 kids daily and the other will oversee the K's site with 39 kids daily.  Each will provide oversight, plan daily activities, and supervise staff. During the school day, you will serve as a mainstream teaching assistant at the school, four days a week, from 10a.m.-2p.m. From 2-6p.m., five days a week, you will serve as the co-coordinator of our Rec Kids afterschool program.  Wednesdays from 10a.m.-2p.m. will be office, professional development, and collaboration time.  Over the summer, you will serve as a coordinator at one of our summer day camps. This is a unique opportunity to work in a school, take leadership of an afterschool site and summer day camp, and play an active role in providing quality out of school experiences for kids. Note: this is a full-time, year-round job. PAY/WAGES  The pay rate is between $22.06 and $23.50 based on experience. Job Description

We are seeking motivated and reliable HVAC installers to join our team. As an installer you would be responsible for installing replacement heating, ventilations and air conditioning systems. This would include furnaces, boilers and heat pumps both ducted and ductless. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality service. 

Responsibilities 

  • Install HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, ERVS and heat pumps both ducted and ductless 
  • Read and interpret plans, diagrams and technical specifications
  • Mathematical skills
  • Inspect and test systems to ensure proper functioning
  • Ensure installations meet code requirements and company standards
  • Communicate with customers how to operate the system and maintenance requirements
  • Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles. 

Qualifications

  • HVAC/EPA certification or 1 year of experience in HVAC 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude 
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Always be courteous, respectful, and pleasant to the customer
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in various environments and weather conditions
