JOB DESCRIPTION

Specialty Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinators will maintain their Pharmacy Technician Registration/License with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy as well as their National Certification in good standing.

EXPERIENCE

One year technician experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalency required.

Three to five years preferred. 

Specialty pharmacy or pre-certification experience strongly encouraged.

**Conditional offers of employment in the Specialty Pharmacy department are contingent upon favorable completion of a thorough background check and post-offer, pre-employment drug screening. Candidates must submit to a drug screen from a vendor approved by the UVM Medical Center.  Specialty Pharmacy candidates who refuse to obtain a drug screen within the time frame requested may have their offer of employment rescinded.  If a Specialty Pharmacy candidate’s drug screen reveals a positive test result, dependent on the circumstances, his/her offer of employment may be rescinded.
