They monitor inventory levels, replenish medications as needed, and ensure emergency crash carts are fully stocked. Throughout the day, they collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve medication-related issues, address patient inquiries, and maintain accurate records. Adhering to strict protocols, they ensure the safe and efficient distribution of medications. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians handle routine pharmacy functions, including receiving prescriptions in writing or electronically from physicians. They prepare prescriptions by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and, when necessary, mixing medications. You  might be the person we're looking for if you have: Education : High School Diploma Certification : Current national certification through either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or the National Health Career Association (NHA) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (ExCPT).
