Description:

St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Retail Pharmacy team!

Shift:

Pool/Per Diem. Weekends, holidays, per department needs.

Summary

Perform all activities of a St Clare Pharmacy Technician. Assists the Pharmacist by filing physician prescriptions for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use. Always works under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Enters patient demographics and insurance information into the computer system. Enters prescriptions onto patient profiles. Checks patients out at cash register. Keeps Pharmacy clean, neat and organized.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 Years of Pharmacy experience preferred

  • Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification within 1 year of hire date or currently enrolled in Pharmacy School Program

  • good communication/problem solving skills

  • promote teamwork
