We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Hours: This part-time role will be working 32 hours per week; 2 days per week at the Mansfield location on Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 5pm EST with lunch from 12pm to 1pm EST, 2 days per week at the Bucyrus location on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1pm EST; and will also be required to cover PTOs at the Ashland location when needed Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm EST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1pm ET. (When covering PTOs at Ashland site, there will be opportunities to work 40 hours some weeks). Location: 741 Scholl Road, Suite P1, Mansfield, OH 44907 (home site). The Bucyrus and Ashland locations are about 30 minutes away from the home site. Primary Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements Performs various clerical duties relating to the department Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills Other duties as assigned Occasional deliveries will be required when needed; will be about twice per week to facilities only or to drop off mail at post office. Will be using your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage. All deliveries would be within about a half-mile from site This part-time role will be working 32 hours per week (2 days per week at the Mansfield location, 2 days per week at the Bucyrus location and will also be required to cover PTOs at the Ashland location when needed. We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: This part-time role will be working 32 hours per week; 2 days per week at the Mansfield location on Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 5pm EST with lunch from 12pm to 1pm EST, 2 days per week at the Bucyrus location on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1pm EST; and will also be required to cover PTOs at the Ashland location when needed Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm EST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1pm ET. (When covering PTOs at Ashland site, there will be opportunities to work 40 hours some weeks).

Location: 741 Scholl Road, Suite P1, Mansfield, OH 44907 (home site). The Bucyrus and Ashland locations are about 30 minutes away from the home site.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

  • Occasional deliveries will be required when needed; will be about twice per week to facilities only or to drop off mail at post office. Will be using your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage. All deliveries would be within about a half-mile from site

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician trainee license in the state of Ohio
  • Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
  • Ability to use your own car to make deliveries when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certifications
  • 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
