Manages drug therapy to optimize patient outcomes measured by intervention documentation, ADR assessment, chart reviews, target drug reviews, patient education, and the provision of drug information. Maintains professional and technical knowledge, licensures and certifications through continuing education. Manages the operations of the pharmacy in compliance with state and federal regulations. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
