Maintain a collaborative working relationship with store and district leadership while promoting associate engagement. Ensure all prescriptions are accurate, compliant, and processed according to state and federal pharmacy regulations, including Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance. Manage department operations to achieve profitability and drive prescription growth through clinical services such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Monitor and control pharmacy inventory, including ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer and business needs. Align team performance with department metrics focused on efficiency, quality, service, and cost control. Provide exceptional customer service, offering counseling and assistance for medical-related inquiries. Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate pharmacy associates and support staff. Handle customer concerns professionally to maintain trust and satisfaction. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate patient care and resolve prescription issues. Oversee compliance with security standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support staff development through continuous training and performance improvement initiatives. Prioritize daily tasks such as inventory counts, cycle counts, and customer outreach to ensure timely completion. Directly supervises pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other support staff. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluations, coaching, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.Pharmacy Manager Background Profile: Bachelor’s (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree required. Minimum of two (2) years of retail pharmacy experience. Active Immunization Certification through an accredited provider (e.g., APhA). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
