Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pmCST

Location: Onsite in our North Central Ausin facility

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance for Synmed machine.
• Plan/distribute/monitor daily task execution and cell metrics.
• Manage/monitor overall automation team metrics by section.
• Manage and perform cassette stocking/replenishment.
• Maintain Omnicell machine for idiosyncrasies that occur daily.
• Order/track supplies and future requirements.
• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately package prescriptions in blister cards based on the directions for use, either by hand or using packaging machines.
• Pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescription labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Liaison with the procurement team to handle NDC changes, "out of stocks", and back-order medications.
• Oversees daily task accomplishment by the team and provides feedback.
• Identifies issues as they arise that affect production goals and deadlines.
• Facilitates team member time management and task assignments based on requirements.
• Is the first point of contact in daily interactions with team members providing feedback related to work, schedule, and performance.
• Interfaces with the Production Manager for daily goals, metric development, and team-related issues.
• Strategizes manpower requirements based on daily/weekly/cycle production targets.

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities

• Must possess an active TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.
• 1+ year experience in a pharmacy environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly.
• Must be able to stand/be on feet for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
