Completion of Thrifty White Pharmacy's Training Program (ASHP/ACPE Accredited) is required, along with all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy. The training program consists of 400.5 total hours; 271.25 of these hours are completed at the pharmacy as paid time. The remaining 129.25 hours are unpaid and are to be completed online. Candidates must be willing to commit to completing the program within 9 months of the enrollment date. A few of the primary responsibilities include: Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business. Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients. Maintains prescription information to ensure accurate records. Understands and follows Medicare Part B requirements Troubleshoots any rejected claims or billing issues. Assists customers with Medicare Part D questions. Maintains proper level of nursing home filling procedures. Able to learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis. Able to maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required. Willing to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed. Good attendance and punctuality is required in order to fulfill the essential job functions. The Nurse Account Manager proactively identifies and meets the needs of potential and current clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction and drive retention. Responsible for building and maintaining a strong working relationship with all clients by serving as the primary contact on issue resolution, providing clinical and regulatory expertise and conducting client staff training. Manage client expectations and communicate status and relevant updates through issue resolution. Develop strong working relationships and build trust with clients by consistently delivering exceptional service, support and expertise. Serve as liaison/quality assurance point of contact during new client onboarding process ensuring seamless and error free service. Assist in onboarding activities such as data collection and eMAR support. Conduct on-site in-services and clinical education programs to client staff regarding survey process, medication administration, risk management, and performance improvement Provides nurse consulting services including vaccine clinics, quality assurance audits and clinical and regulatory support. Prepare and deliver business reviews with facility management to review business deliverables and present value-added services. Manage client base through documentation in SalesForce CRM system. This includes tracking of activities, tasks, and contacts with clients. Support and participate in local marketing initiatives to foster relationships, enhance brand awareness and assist in business development efforts. Maintain expertise regarding pharmacy industry standards of practice, regulations, and clinical skills needed to support clients. Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed. Education and/or Certifications: Nursing Degree (LPN) required Active State Nursing license required Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of related experience; experience working in long term care pharmacy and/or institutional patient care setting, such as assisted living or skilled nursing home, preferred Advanced computer skills, including excel, word and PowerPoint required Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines Ability to solve problems with minimal direction Great attention to detail and accuracy Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies. Work Environment: Ability to routinely travel within assigned territory, predominantly ground travel in state or throughout multi-state area based on client territory and business needs. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Due to the collaborative nature of the business and the need to service customers, the employee must be able to interact effectively with others in an office environment, manage conflict, and handle stressful situations and deadlines. ND Pharmacy Tech-in-Training - FT

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking out a Pharmacy Technician-in-Training in Devils Lake, ND to start/grow their pharmacy career. Completion of Thrifty White Pharmacy's Training Program (ASHP/ACPE Accredited) is required, along with all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy. The training program consists of 400.5 total hours; 271.25 of these hours are completed at the pharmacy as paid time. The remaining 129.25 hours are unpaid and are to be completed online. Candidates must be willing to commit to completing the program within 9 months of the enrollment date.
 
A few of the primary responsibilities include:
  • Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
  • Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
  • Maintains prescription information to ensure accurate records.
  • Understands and follows Medicare Part B requirements
  • Troubleshoots any rejected claims or billing issues.
  • Assists customers with Medicare Part D questions.
  • Maintains proper level of nursing home filling procedures.
  • Able to learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
  • Able to maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required.
  • Willing to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
  • Good attendance and punctuality is required in order to fulfill the essential job functions.
