Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately for inpatient care.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy.

• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.

• Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories.

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.

• Assist in the training and mentoring of new pharmacy staff.

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.

• Assist in inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.

• Utilize pharmacy software for medication dispensing and record management.

• Assist in the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.

Experience/Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician in an inpatient setting.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Strong knowledge of medication dispensing and pharmaceutical regulations.

• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams.

• Ability to monitor and report medication errors effectively.

• Experience with pharmacy software for medication management.

• Strong attention to detail in maintaining patient records.

• Ability to provide excellent customer service to patients.

• Experience in mentoring or training new pharmacy staff.

• Willingness to participate in quality improvement initiatives.
