POSITION SUMMARY: Clearway Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to support our on-site Specialty Pharmacy operations! In this role, you will oversee daily pharmacy workflows, support and develop team members, and partner closely with our client site to ensure a seamless and patient-centered specialty pharmacy experience. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Establish and enforce best practice processes for safe prescription dispensing, ensuring compliance across the pharmacy department. Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations, maintaining accreditation and safety standards. Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and students, managing schedules and staffing ratios effectively. Collaborate with the Site Director on recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluations. Perform pharmacist duties, including prescription transcription, order entry, and patient consultation, within assigned schedule. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state/federal guidelines for handling narcotics and restricted drugs. Liaise with physicians and benefit providers to process prescriptions, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing improvements. Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with inventory regulations. Identify, develop, and analyze system/process performance, making recommendations for improvement and contributing to budgeting and procedural changes. Demonstrate leadership in achieving departmental goals, fostering a productive work environment and resolving conflicts. Provide professional, confidential patient care, and uphold company and site performance standards. Participate in staff development activities and maintain professional competency through continued education EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED : A PharmD or bachelor's degree from a College of Pharmacy is required for this role. Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY SHIFTS ROTATE THROUGH 7AM-4PM, 8AM-5PM, 9AM-6PM, 10AM-7PM. WEEKENDS ROTATE EVERY 3-4 WEEKS. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers. Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins in an accurate and timely manner. Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly. Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas. Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders. Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds, marking used bottles and keeping inventory neat and arranged in-order. May assist in physical inventory. Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels. Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently. Maintain clean and orderly workstation. Put medications away and replenish all stock supplies needed. Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications. POSITION SUMMARY:

Clearway Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to support our on-site Specialty Pharmacy operations! In this role, you will oversee daily pharmacy workflows, support and develop team members, and partner closely with our client site to ensure a seamless and patient-centered specialty pharmacy experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previously managed a pharmacy or has experience within specialty pharmacy and is looking to further grow in a collaborative, high-impact environment. Candidates who currently hold, or are working toward obtaining, their Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) certification are strongly encouraged to apply.

You'll manage the daily operations of the assigned outpatient specialty pharmacy location. Your role involves maintaining quality improvement initiatives consistent with company standards, fostering a work environment where team members feel valued, heard, and respected. You will plan, organize, direct, and lead personnel to identify and implement new or improved processes. You will develop measurable metrics to drive quality improvement and enhance patient-focused services. With a detailed understanding of system design, reengineering, project management, quality improvement, outcomes measurement, and statistical analysis, you will skillfully utilize these techniques to optimize pharmacy operations and service delivery.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Establish and enforce best practice processes for safe prescription dispensing, ensuring compliance across the pharmacy department.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations, maintaining accreditation and safety standards.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and students, managing schedules and staffing ratios effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Site Director on recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform pharmacist duties, including prescription transcription, order entry, and patient consultation, within assigned schedule.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state/federal guidelines for handling narcotics and restricted drugs.
  • Liaise with physicians and benefit providers to process prescriptions, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing improvements.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with inventory regulations.
  • Identify, develop, and analyze system/process performance, making recommendations for improvement and contributing to budgeting and procedural changes.
  • Demonstrate leadership in achieving departmental goals, fostering a productive work environment and resolving conflicts.
  • Provide professional, confidential patient care, and uphold company and site performance standards.
  • Participate in staff development activities and maintain professional competency through continued education

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

  • A PharmD or bachelor's degree from a College of Pharmacy is required for this role. Active and unrestricted Pharmacist licensure (in good standing) to practice pharmacy in the state in which you are applying in or and/or the ability to acquire this at the time of hire is required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a State Board of Pharmacy Preceptor’s license by the current state you are applying to within one year of hire

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of previous experience in an outpatient/retail pharmacy setting with 1+ years of related pharmacy supervisory/management experience is required.
  • 5+ years in direct pharmacy leadership role preferred
  • CSP preferred
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy or health systems

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of outpatient pharmacy operations
  • Management of outpatient or retail pharmacy, including inventory, operations, and budget
  • Supervisory experience with pharmacists and technicians
  • Experience developing KPIs for measuring pharmacy performance monthly
  • Communication skills
  • Experience working directly with doctors, nurses, other healthcare professionals
  • Customer service skills, including de-escalation and problem solving for service issues

Special Working Conditions (On-call, travel, shift, coverage):

  • Minimal travel required for this position.
  • Clearway Health Specialty Pharmacies, serving patients in hospitals, health systems, and communities, may require employees at client sites to work on company-recognized holidays.

The actual rate within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
