  • Accurately labeling prescriptions, verifying each label displays the correct name of the medication, dose strength, quantity, directions and expiration dates
  • Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks)
  • Applies labels to blister cards and scans product for accuracy check
  • Managing pharmacy inventory by removing expired medications from shelves and maintaining a neat and orderly work area
  • Operate automated dispensing equipment
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions
  • Keeps the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

Required Qualification:

  • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician licensure in North Carolina
  • Proficiency in sterile compounding, aseptic technique and dosage/dilution calculations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB)
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
