Key Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic advice on wage/hour compliance, leaves (FMLA/CFRA), and employee discipline.

• Lead high-level workplace investigations into sensitive matters.

• Defend clients against FEHA/Title VII claims and represent them in administrative hearings.

• Draft and update employment agreements, handbooks, and custom workplace policies.

Qualifications

• Bar Admission: Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.

• Experience: 2+ years of dedicated employment law practice.

• Public Sector Expertise: Experience with the Government Code, PERB, or the Brown Act is a strong plus.

• Skillset: Strong strategic counsel abilities and the autonomy to manage a varied caseload independently.
