Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm. Weekend availability is required. $17.10 Per hour + quarterly bonus opportunities Primary responsibility of Inventory Specialist is to perform the day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities of the Asurion forward stocking locations for various in-home client programs. This person serves as an integral part of the Supply Chain Management support team in providing support and ensuring smooth and effective operations and will provide a variety of professional, administrative, and/or clerical services to department and management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support warehouse operations as well as any administrative tasks to meet quality and productivity metrics supporting overall business needs. Assist teams to ensure timely product movement, availability and disposition according to process Confirm and support all required shipping and receiving protocols Monitor and update applicable software programs as needed Maintains inventory accuracy by researching and performing follow-ups when discrepancies arise Troubleshoots issues related to office management, including telephony, computers, printers, and facilities. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by department and management. Collaborate pro-actively and successfully across departmental boundaries. On a daily basis operate in compliance with Federal, State and Local authorities. OTHER FUNCTIONS Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Skills/knowledge : Basic knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network and warehouse best practices. Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to navigate and root cause opportunities to seek resolution. Strong ability to handle ambiguity and adapts readily and easily to changes. Strong verbal and written communication, and team facilitations skills. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and set priorities Experience/education : 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred Physical demands : Bending, sitting, lifting, and standing based on the need of the business. Standing and/or sitting for extended and long periods of time, up to 100% of shift or over time. Job Summary

Our Truck Service team is comprised of nearly 3,000 highly skilled technicians and spans coast to coast. With over 280 locations across the country, TA Truck Service has a solid foundation and a forward-thinking vision. The Inventory Control Team Member assists with inventory management responsibilities including cycle counts, check in orders, processing inventory receipts and maintaining the parts room. Our Inventory Control Team Member helps ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
  • Understand the day-to-day operation of all computer systems in the Shop Profit Center and operate POS systems properly and efficiently
  • Reviews Work Orders from previous shift(s) for accuracy and completeness
  • Process Purchase Orders and Requests for Documentation (DRs), Reconcile invoices for payment, research negative on hand inventory discrepancies, research charge backs and process inventory adjustments
  • Assist in taking inventory, inventory cycle counting, ordering, receiving, marking (PLU Number) and storing merchandise; Process inventory transfers including warranty work

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience with inventory control
  • A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team!
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays in interior and exterior conditions
  • A valid driver’s license
