Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures. Generate regular inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for leadership. Production Support Coordinate with production teams to ensure material staging and kitting are accurate. Document and report scrap, damaged materials, and material returns. Ensure accurate backflushing and BOM (Bill of Materials) consumption records. Assist with maintaining production schedules by tracking shortages and delays. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain. Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics) preferred. Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking tools. This position includes policy implementation, cycle counting supervision, team training on inventory best practices, and driving P&L results. 1st Shift: 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Monday-Friday Responsibilities: Measure, analyze, and report inventory accuracy and variances, including reconciling and reporting system-to-system inventory balances and discrepancies. Oversee departmental daily P&L forecasting and analysis, as well as labor planning and scheduling. Lead and mentor a team by providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met. Supervise inventory cycle counts, conduct audits, and ensure efficient stock management. Proficient in MRP and ERP systems for inventory management, supporting and educating team members on their daily utilization. Collaborate with the sourcing team to establish and implement optimal Min and Max levels for critical consumables to enhance operational efficiency. Direct the implementation of a formal inventory control program in our 3PL distribution centers and ensure the execution of standardized inventory procedures. Produce inventory performance reports, analyze trends for process improvements and cost savings, and present recommendations to senior management for strategic decisions. Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations. Communicates effectively with Corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting customer expectations, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise. Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts. Identifies, prioritizes, and leads the implementation of complex cross-functional inventory control process improvement initiatives, with a focus on forward-thinking project introduction, development, and execution. Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of prior inventory leadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Proven hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems. Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control principles and methodologies, demonstrating the ability to implement and optimize inventory management procedures. Prior accountability for managing high-value, high-volume inventory. Able to operate autonomously and take proactive initiatives in a warehouse environment. Proficient in managing a demanding workload, prioritizing tasks and consistently meeting deadlines. Strong analytical and numerical skills, including the capability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and execute data-informed decision-making. Effective problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on results and continuous improvement. Ability to strategically analyze complex situations and formulate a well-considered plan. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and influence individuals at all levels of the organization. Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner. Effective project management abilities, inclusive of crafting and executing IT solutions. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications. General knowledge of OSHA Standards. Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience working with UKG and Kronos. Experience in supervising temporary staff. Advanced capability in communication style-flexing. CPIM and/or APICS certification.   • Perform daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and full physical inventory audits.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
  • Update inventory records in the ERP/WMS system and ensure data accuracy.
  • Track and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to maintain accurate material flow.
  • Conduct inventory adjustments and prepare related reports for management.
  • Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend action plans.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Generate regular inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for leadership.
Production Support
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure material staging and kitting are accurate.
  • Document and report scrap, damaged materials, and material returns.
  • Ensure accurate backflushing and BOM (Bill of Materials) consumption records.
  • Assist with maintaining production schedules by tracking shortages and delays.
QualificationsEducation:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience:
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics) preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Forklift certification is a plus (if applicable).
