Position Summary: The Associate Field Inventory Specialist maintains inventory of materials throughout warehouse and all associated processes. Works across site to reconcile inventory, identify root causes for discrepancies and trains process teams on correct transaction methods. Responsibilities including but not limited to cycle counting, asset management, put away control, interim storage type clean up, expired and damaged scrap, return material processing, plant to plant inventory balancing and inventory configuration projects. Essential Functions: Supports critical inventory tasks such as cycle counting, reconciliation and physical inventories Owns inventory balancing across plant and warehouse locations, executing mid to long term projects for warehouse storage solutions Responsible for establishing control of Key Performance Indicators for Inventory including aged transfer orders, interim location physical inventories, discrepant inventory, negative inventory Responsible for correct processes with ownership for put away and storage of materials – right part, right place Research root cause of inventory discrepancies, including analysis of inventory data Supports and in-depth knowledge of site processes to identify errors or process improvements pertaining to inventory transactions Coordinates information flow and project statuses between self, team and/or departments; builds internal and external relationships to collaboratively share best practices Performs duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485 Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Primary Responsibilities: - Oversee the plants cycle count program to ensure the plants inventory accuracy is 98% or better - Establish the plants ABC analysis annually, Ensuring as new parts are added to the plant throughout the year via launch or ECN, that each part is properly classified and added to the count schedule - Develop a detailed cycle count schedule, understanding the total number of parts in each category multiplied by the required count frequency divided by the number of planned working days to determine the number of counts required per day                                                                                                                                                                         - Monitoring the negative inventory report; counting and adjusting as necessary - Publish cycle count accuracy metrics published daily:    - Counts complete to count schedule    - Accuracy - Hit / Miss    - Gross $ adjusted - Ensure that for any count with a variance outside of tolerance, a proper root cause analysis is performed and permanent corrective actions are added to the SCM Continuous Improvement Matrix and tracked to closure - Work with the SCM, Plant Manager and Controller to communicate and obtain approval prior to making any adjustments while ensuring any variance is adjusted with a 48-hour period from the initial count - Work the SCM to ensure any E & O material is process in accordance corporate policy - Support the engineering change process as required by the Supply Chain Manager - Work with Engineering, Finance and Operations teams to ensure BOM's and Routings are audited at a minimum of annually - Participate with the SCM team to achieve targets, goals and objectives - Proactively, work with the ECN process and the Supplier Scheduler to ensure that new parts are set up properly in QAD and the 'P.O. Integration process - Work the SCM to ensure that that a accurate physical inventory is taken is accordance with corporate policy:    - Clear written work instruction for assignments, auditing, counting, tag accountability, reconciliation    - The count team is trained prior to the start of the physical    - The count is accurate and posted timely    - Root cause investigation is performed on the 20% of the items that make up 80% of the variance    - That actions to implement permanent corrective actions are added to the SCM CI matrix - Assist in the supervision of the materials team on night shift team and ensure counts are conducted timely and accurately - PCO Approvals - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Strong communicator, in English, at all levels of the organization both verbal and written Possess strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with all levels across the organization in order to influence performance -       Ability to drive actions without a direct reporting relationship -       Good decision-making skills -       Ability to achieve deadlines -       Forward planner -       Good multi-tasking abilities - Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Position Summary:

The Associate Field Inventory Specialist maintains inventory of materials throughout warehouse and all associated processes. Works across site to reconcile inventory, identify root causes for discrepancies and trains process teams on correct transaction methods. Responsibilities including but not limited to cycle counting, asset management, put away control, interim storage type clean up, expired and damaged scrap, return material processing, plant to plant inventory balancing and inventory configuration projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports critical inventory tasks such as cycle counting, reconciliation and physical inventories

  • Owns inventory balancing across plant and warehouse locations, executing mid to long term projects for warehouse storage solutions

  • Responsible for establishing control of Key Performance Indicators for Inventory including aged transfer orders, interim location physical inventories, discrepant inventory, negative inventory

  • Responsible for correct processes with ownership for put away and storage of materials – right part, right place

  • Research root cause of inventory discrepancies, including analysis of inventory data

  • Supports and in-depth knowledge of site processes to identify errors or process improvements pertaining to inventory transactions

  • Coordinates information flow and project statuses between self, team and/or departments; builds internal and external relationships to collaboratively share best practices

  • Performs duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485
