We partner with schools to identify students who would benefit from a positive, adult role model. EXL Mentors play a key role in leading Active Recess activities with students. Each Member is placed at one school site upon hiring to serve for the entire school year (commuting among school sites is not a daily requirement.) Program Overview The goal of the AmeriCorps EXL program is to provide comprehensive support to students. All students at the school site benefit from the support of organized, collaborative games and conflict resolution during recess and lunch.
