Math Instructor/Tutor for Higher Math (part-time) - Katy, TX We are looking for passionate, friendly, and enthusiastic people who enjoy helping kids. We will teach you everything else you need to know! We are currently looking for energetic and passionate Math Instructors who have a strong math background and be able to work with HS students. Must be able to teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and AP-Calculus. Being able to teach SAT/ACT prep courses, and Calculus is a plus. Apply Description The Student Tutor provides individual and group academic support to students requesting assistance with academic coursework. This position is part of the Academic Success Center's efforts to foster student success through peer-to-peer learning. Essential Responsibilities: Provide tutoring in approved subjects to individual students or small groups. Assist students in developing strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. Manage tutoring sessions independently, including scheduling and maintaining a positive, professional rapport with students. Attend required training sessions and staff meetings. Adhere strictly to college guidelines regarding hiring, payroll, confidentiality, and tutoring protocols. Maintain accurate and timely communication with the supervisor about student progress and challenges. Seek supervisor approval before taking on tasks outside of regular tutoring duties.
