BookNook is seeking passionate educators to join our tutoring community as independent contractors, working up to 30 hours per week. BookNook tutors are on the front lines of working to close the opportunity gap for K-8 students during a key period of their educational journey. Our online tutors conduct live, synchronous online tutoring sessions using the BookNook platform and video conferencing software. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct, positive impact on students on their path to achieving success in Math. Position Specifics: Subject: K-8th grade math Position Type: 1099-eligible independent contractor Timeline: Programming typically runs during the school year, with the busiest months from September-May Pay Rate: $20 per hour ($10 per 30-minute session) Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week based on the tutor's availability and the number of active tutoring programs.
