- Biology: General Biology, AP Biology
- Chemistry: General Chemistry, AP Chemistry
- Environmental Science: Environmental Studies, AP Environmental Science
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach rigorous, standards-aligned lessons that build scientific knowledge, analytical skills, and real-world application.
- Foster a Supportive Culture: Create a respectful, collaborative classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and teamwork.
- Differentiate Instruction: Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English language learners and students with special needs.
- Assess & Provide Feedback: Use varied assessment strategies to monitor progress and provide constructive, timely feedback to support student growth.
- Maintain Academic Focus: Ensure classrooms are well-structured, organized, and conducive to active learning and responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or Education (Master’s preferred).
- Secondary teaching credential or subject certification preferred but not required.
- At least 2 years of high school teaching or tutoring experience.
