DESCRIPTION Sylvan Learning is the industry leader in providing supplemental education to children in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. We are seeking smart, dynamic individuals to work with our high school students on preparing for the SAT and ACT. Individuals with experience coaching students in the SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, or college essay are also encouraged to apply. Creates and implements tutorial programs that guide and assist students with homework, problem solving, report writing, and test preparation in the disciplines of: • Reading • Math • English 1. Tutors students individually or in scheduled group study session to review principles, solve problems, and review for tests. 2. Create lesson plans for students. 3.
